I LOVE mixing styles from different eras because let's face it, a very small margin of us can actually afford to re-decorate our entire homes in one go, and life is all about collecting things and memories as we go along right? This means
we all have items we purchased or are hand-me-downs that was fabulous for it's time but might feel a little dated to us now. Don't get rid of it just yet, you can use this to your advantage!

Things to remember
1. Less is more, so keep the different types of patterns and finishes in a specific area to the minimum.
2. Keep the colour palette simple as to not overwhelm the senses.
3. Choose 1 item to be your statement piece, place that first and then add all other layers in, constantly keeping in mind the piece you would like to highlight.
